Results from the ACSSO Impact of Vaping Survey

The evaluation highlights several key findings, such as demographic information, awareness of vaping, understanding of vaping, sources of information, awareness of health risks, concerns about youth vaping, perceived health risks, worries about vaping, discussions about vaping with youth, confidence in preventing youth vaping, personal use of vaping devices, reasons for trying vaping devices, and opinions on addressing vaping at a societal level.

The survey's findings emphasise the need for comprehensive public health campaigns, stricter laws, increased caregiver knowledge, and peer-to-peer education, particularly among young populations, to combat vaping. These findings will be instrumental in developing targeted initiatives to reduce the risks of vaping and safeguard public health.
