Celebrating Excellence: Highlights from the Susan Ryan Family Engagement Awards Presentation Night

We are thrilled to share the exciting news from the recent Susan Ryan Family Engagement Awards Presentation Night, a spectacular event that brought educators, parents, and community members together to celebrate the outstanding efforts in fostering family engagement in education.

The evening was filled with joy, inspiration, and a sense of community as we acknowledged and applauded the finalists who demonstrated exceptional commitment to family engagement. A heartfelt congratulations to the finalists: Makybe Rise Primary School, South Thornlie Primary School, Gateway Learning Community, and Auburn North Primary School. Each of these schools has exhibited a dedication to creating meaningful connections between families and education.

However, there was one shining star of the night, and that honour goes to Auburn North Primary School, who emerged as the Susan Ryan Family Engagement Award winner. Their innovative and inclusive approach to family engagement truly stood out, significantly impacting the lives of students and their families.

The atmosphere at the awards presentation night was electric as representatives from each school shared their experiences and best practices. Auburn North Primary School's success story was particularly inspiring, showcasing the power of collaboration between educators, parents, and the community.

The Susan Ryan Family Engagement Award recognises not only the hard work of schools but also the importance of engaging families in their children's educational journey. Family engagement is crucial to a child's academic success, and the winning schools have set an exemplary standard for others to follow.

As we reflect on the celebration, it is evident that these schools are not just educational institutions; they are nurturing communities that understand the significance of a united effort towards a child's growth and development.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Auburn North Primary School and all the finalists for their exceptional dedication to family engagement. Their efforts serve as a beacon of inspiration for schools nationwide, encouraging them to prioritise and enhance family involvement in education.

Let's continue celebrating these remarkable achievements and working together to create a future where every child receives the support they need for a bright and successful educational journey.

We eagerly anticipate the submission of nominations for the Susan Ryan Family Engagement Awards in 2024.
