The Song Room

May 2023

The Song Room is an Australian education organization that offers multi-year, multi-artform arts learning programs for both students and teachers. Since its inception in 1999, it has played a vital role in bridging the education equity gap for children facing disadvantage. Over the past 23 years, more than 450,000 students have participated in its programs.

In 2006, in-class, sequential arts education programs were introduced nationwide, including remote and regional schools. These programs use a hybrid approach, combining face-to-face and online delivery to cater to the unique needs of each school and its community.

In 2013, The Song Room launched ARTS: LIVE, an award-winning digital education platform that provides primary school teachers with accessible, curriculum-aligned, online arts education resources.

Today, The Song Room is a leading provider of top-quality arts-learning experiences. Its evidence-based programs not only boost student engagement but also cultivate a sense of belonging and aim to develop the full range of cognitive, emotional, and social skills that are essential for young people to thrive.

The Song Room advocates for every child's right to become a lifelong learner. They are seeking donations to help reach their goal. Please donate today to support their cause.
