ABC podcast Fierce Girls is back!

Fierce Girls, ABC’s award-winning educational podcast, is back for Season 10! They asked kids around the country to submit stories about the Australian women who inspire them, and they really delivered.

Ten talented girls between the ages of 9-14 were selected to record their scripts at the ABC and tell you about their favourite fierce girls, their way.

The first five episodes are out now and spotlight the impactful stories of women like Australian of the Year and body positivity advocate Taryn Brumfitt, Robogals founder and women in STEM pioneer Marita Cheng, the first woman to win the Melbourne Cup, Michelle Payne, and a little-known Chinese Australian diplomat who challenged the White Australia policy in the early 20^th century.

The second half of the season will be out on October 11, to mark International Day of the Girl.

Fierce Girls can be found on the ABC Listen app, and third-party podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Overcast and wherever else you listen to podcasts. They can also be found on smart speakers.
