New Interoception and Self-regulation resources

April 2023

Interoception is a crucial skill for self-regulation, which involves being mindfully aware of your body. It is one of our eight sensory systems. It focuses on understanding the internal physical states of the body, such as emotions and feelings. This resource includes 39 activities that have been proven effective for both autistic and non-autistic students. These activities can be done as a whole school, in class, in small groups, or individually. They are suitable for children and young people of all ages. They are presented in instructional illustrations and demonstration videos, so you can choose the best method for you and your students.
