Susan Ryan Family Engagement Awards 2024
Susan Ryan AO was the first female senator for the ACT and the first woman in Labor’s Hawke Government. She is renowned for the Sex Discrimination Act of 1984 and the Affirmative Action Act of 1986. Susan was also ACSSO’s first Executive Officer, and in her honor, the Susan Ryan Family Engagement Awards celebrates outstanding family engagement in schools across Australia.
Through this award, together we acknowledge, celebrate, and promote the great practice that is occurring in schools across the nation, which will culminate in the award presentation.
Family – School Engagement is ACSSO’s core business, and we would like to hear how your school engages with families and community.
By sharing your story, your school could win the first prize of $2,000!
Finalists in each category will be invited to attend the Susan Ryan Family Engagement Awards presentation in Canberra on
Saturday 9th November 2024,
where the winner will be announced.
