ACSSO NATIONAL CONFERENCE
The Australian Council of State School Organisations National Conference has evolved into a highly significant event on the annual calendar of those committed to advancing the cause of public education around the globe.
Every year, speakers and attendees from around the country and overseas meet in a different Australian city to discuss and debate the central issues that will inform the continuing evolution of state-based education.
In 2009, ACSSO is joining forces with the Australian Parents council - the peak national body for the parents of students in private schools - as a way of focusing more attention on the needs of parents, students, teachers and schools, and less on public-v-private arguments.
