Australia's political leaders at today's COAG meeting have immensely disappointed the parents of Australia. The Federal Government's plan in response to the Gonski review into school funding (read it here) was rejected at today's COAG meeting. This morning ACSSO President, Peter Garrigan, stated that it was "time to walk the talk and stop playing political football with the lives of our children and the future of our nation!",but it looks as though our political leaders wish to continue playing.

We have until June 30 to continue our efforts to see an agreement on Gonski and education reform. ACSSO calls on parents across Australia to contact their Premier or Chief Minister and express their extreme disappointment at today's outcome.
