Walk Safely to School Day

WSTSD.jpgNational Walk Safely to School Day (WSTSD) is on Friday 19 May 2017.

Now in its 18th year, it is a campaign and annual event when all primary school children, their parents and carers are encouraged to walk and commute regularly and safely to school. It is a community event seeking to promote Road Safety, Health, Public Transport and the Environment. Street Smart Resources now available


Have you seen the child safety initiative Streetsmart Handbooks?   They're aimed at 16-17 year old school leavers and also Teachers use it as part of their curriculum in class through out the year. Parents can get a e version copy of the handbook to open up better communication lines at home.

It has 10 different chapters on a host of important life advisory topics from choosing a career path/Entering Tafe/uni/courses of chosen fields,buying your first car, drugs & Alcohol & more.
